Narcotics Anonymous Indonesia holds International Convention in Djakarta, Indonesia

[Date] - Narcotics Anonymous Indonesia, a non-profit group offering recovery to addicts, announces their second convention in Indonesia and their first convention in the city of Djakarta.

Narcotics Anonymous (NA) members from Bogor, Bali and Djakarta gathered to celebrate their freedom from addiction at [hotel/convention center] with NA members visiting from Australia, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Malaysia, Nepal, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, and the United States of America.

Narcotics Anonymous is an international, community based, organization offering hope and help to addicts seeking recovery from drug addiction.  At NA meetings, addicts meet other people who have had similar experiences and problems that are now staying off drugs and learning a better way to live.  There are no dues or fees for attendance to NA meetings.

Founded in the United States in 1953, NA now exists in over 92 countries worldwide and has translated its literature into 132 languages and dialects.  Narcotics Anonymous is for any addict, regardless of which drug, or combination of drugs that a person may have used.  NA literature emphasizes that when addicts substitute one drug for another, they release their addiction all over again.  By focusing on recovery from the common problem of addiction, NA provides an environment where addicts who may not have used the same drugs identify and help each other.
